For more than 20 years, a German award has been given called the “its Eselsohr” for the best YA book of the year. The jury is made of teens from 13-16, boys and girls. I was absolutely delighted to learn today that last week they picked Starters. I’ll be getting copies of press articles later.
It means so much to me that teens halfway around the world saw what I intended when I wrote the book. Thank you. Ich bin Ihnen sehr dankbar!
